Here are some of the key points I gained from the presentation;

1. The Millennial generation is much more open with personal information than other generations.

2. All generations are interested in challenging and meaningful work but Millennial's are more vocal about it.

3. Millennial's will target working for organizations who are industries they are passionate about, such as green initiatives, global warming, etc.

4. The 20-25 year old brain in the current workforce is different than the 20-25 year old brain in the work force 20 years ago. Their brain is evolving on the job and organizations need to take this into account when attracting, retaining, and engaging this employee age range.

Employee Rewards - Here is a summary of Tony's ideas:

1. Referral capture - ask for introductions from your existing clients, referrals from your clients customers listed on their web site, track your leads and reward the behavior

2. Evidence capture - use testimonials, use guarantees, list 5 reasons why a company should use your service

3. Story capture - use stories to illustrate your point, start a blog, update your website regularly, use video clips

4. Content capture - make sure your web site has great content, if you sell a product on-line, have a 10 year old try to place an order and see if they can do it easily

5. Grabber capture - he shared some ideas to use direct mail by sending items such as a bank bag with fake money, a red handwritten envelope with a stamp, LP record sleeve, etc.

6. High touch capture - in the age of digital, think high touch, incorporate video and pictures, Utube

7. Innovation capture - read and gather good ideas from outside of your industry, lighten up, develop a childlike curiosity, be willing to be misunderstood
